PROBLEM: LEAKING OR CORRODED PANS
AFTER A FEW YEARS your condensate pans will become corroded, and surfaces become irregular. Once galvanizing is gone, rust spreads rapidly, eventually ruining the pan. This causes you expensive replacement and equipment downtime. Now there is a solution to the problem and a way to prevent it.
SOLUTION #1: PANSHIELD
Applying Panshield to your HVAC condensate pans makes the surface like new again, providing a tough surface that is chemically resistant to concentrated coil cleaners. It automatically fills in irregular surface characteristics, providing a smooth, chemically resistant surface for the condensate pan.
Additionally, some pans develop low spots where water can stagnate. Panshield will form a level pan, so that water goes where it should — down the drain.
After pouring, the unit may be returned to service in as little as four hours.
New condensate pans should be coated to remove dead spots on the pan surfaces, and protect the pan’s surface from corroding. Applying Panshield to a new pan will extend the life of the pan dramatically and perform better than a factory- installed original galvanized pan.
Panshield is more than a “Pan In A Can” — it’s amazing! Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most powerful.
SOLUTION #2: V-SHIELD COATING
Applying V-Shield to your HVAC condensate pans makes the surface like new again, providing a tough surface that is chemically resistant to concentrated coil cleaners. It automatically fills in irregular surface characteristics, providing a smooth, chemically resistant surface for the condensate pan.
V-Shield is specially designed to cling to vertical surfaces, for a thick, protective coating.
Applying V-Shield to a new pan will extend the life of the pan dramatically and perform better than a factory-installed original galvanized pan.
